Professional Fellows contribute operational expertise to the Responsible Fintech Institute (RFI), helping develop industry standards, technical frameworks, and implementation playbooks that enable responsible fintech innovation across the global ecosystem.

Purpose & Mandate

The Professional Fellow serves as the bridge between high-level fintech policy discussions and the practical realities of industry implementation.

This fellowship track focuses on developing operational frameworks, best-practice standards, and implementation guides that help financial institutions adopt responsible fintech solutions in areas such as AI governance, digital asset regulation, and cross-border financial infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Industry Playbook Development
    Lead or contribute to the creation of practical industry playbooks that guide responsible implementation of fintech innovations.

  • Technical Advisory
    Provide expert input on RFI partnerships, initiatives, and frameworks to ensure technical feasibility and operational effectiveness.

  • Practitioner Mentorship
    Mentor startups and emerging fintech professionals through RFI initiatives and partner programs.

  • Regulatory Feedback Loops
    Participate in technical roundtables translating regulatory proposals into operational impact assessments for the industry.

Who Should Apply

The Professional Fellow track is designed for experienced industry practitioners who play a leading role in implementing fintech solutions within financial institutions, technology firms, or regulatory organizations.

  • 10–15 years of professional experience in fintech, finance, technology, compliance, or regulatory affairs

  • Senior leadership roles such as Head of Digital Assets, Chief Compliance Officer, CTO, or Lead Legal Counsel

  • Demonstrated experience delivering major fintech initiatives or regulatory licensing projects

  • Strong expertise in areas such as fintech regulation, digital asset governance, AI ethics, or cross-border payments
