The Responsible Fintech Institute (RFI), in collaboration with ICP Hub Singapore, is pleased to present a special workshop on the Future of Digital Money with CBDCs and Stablecoins, held as an official side event of TOKEN2049 Singapore.
As governments, central banks, and private-sector innovators continue to explore new forms of digital money, Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) and stablecoins have emerged as two of the most significant developments shaping the future of the global financial system. While both seek to enhance efficiency, accessibility, and cross-border interoperability, they represent fundamentally different approaches to digital value transfer and financial infrastructure.
This workshop will provide participants with practical insights into the evolving landscape of digital currencies, examining the opportunities, challenges, and policy considerations surrounding CBDCs and stablecoins.
