The Responsible Fintech Institute (RFI) is pleased to announce that Chairman Chia Hock Lai will be participating as a speaker at The Asian Banker Summit 2026 in Kuala Lumpur.

The session, titled “How Web3 is Unlocking the Promise of DeFi and Tokenised Finance,” will examine the evolving role of digital assets, tokenisation, and decentralised finance within the broader financial ecosystem. The discussion will explore how institutions, regulators, and market participants are navigating the opportunities and challenges presented by emerging financial technologies.

Joining the panel are distinguished industry and regulatory leaders, including Dr. Dr. Wong Huei Ching, Executive Director of the Securities Commission Malaysia, Alan Ang, Chairman of the Asia Blockchain Association, and moderator Mark Walker, CEO of The Fintech Times.
