The Responsible Fintech Institute (RFI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Distinguished Professor Patrick LOH and Professor Tek Yew Chia as Executive Fellows.

As financial systems become increasingly interconnected across traditional finance, digital assets, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies, institutions face growing challenges in governance, interoperability, and cross-border collaboration. The appointment of Professor Loh and Professor Chia further strengthens RFI’s ability to engage with industry, academia, and policymakers on these evolving issues.

In their roles as Executive Fellows, both appointees will contribute to RFI’s initiatives in policy development, institutional engagement, and ecosystem collaboration. Their involvement will support industry dialogues, stakeholder engagement, and the advancement of practical frameworks that promote trusted and responsible innovation.

Professor Loh and Professor Chia bring extensive experience across academia, industry leadership, and governance. Their expertise will help support RFI’s mission of fostering trusted digital infrastructure, promoting international collaboration, and advancing responsible fintech development across jurisdictions.
