The Responsible Fintech Institute (RFI) and the Digital Assets Association (DAA) have formally entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), marking an important milestone in advancing collaboration across the digital finance and digital assets ecosystem.

The agreement was signed during the Digital Assets Summit 2025 in Singapore and reflects a shared commitment to supporting responsible innovation, industry collaboration, and the development of trusted digital finance infrastructure.

Strengthening Industry Collaboration

As digital assets, blockchain technologies, and emerging financial innovations continue to evolve, industry stakeholders face increasing demands for governance, interoperability, compliance, and trust.

Through this partnership, RFI and DAA will work together to foster greater collaboration among financial institutions, technology providers, regulators, policymakers, and industry participants. The objective is to support the sustainable growth of the digital finance ecosystem while encouraging innovation that is both practical and responsible.

RFI’s Role

Under the collaboration framework, RFI will focus on developing digital utilities, governance frameworks, and industry standards designed to strengthen trust and transparency across the digital finance landscape.

This includes initiatives aimed at improving institutional onboarding, compliance efficiency, identity verification, and digital trust infrastructure.

RFI’s broader mission is to bridge traditional finance and emerging digital financial systems through practical tools, collaborative governance models, and multi-stakeholder engagement.

DAA’s Role

DAA will continue its efforts to strengthen the digital assets ecosystem by fostering engagement among industry participants, innovators, regulators, and policymakers.

Through industry events, partnerships, and ecosystem-building initiatives, DAA plays an important role in encouraging responsible adoption of digital asset technologies and supporting the continued development of Singapore’s digital finance sector.

Looking Ahead

The MOU establishes a foundation for future collaboration between both organizations and creates opportunities to jointly explore initiatives that support industry education, standards development, ecosystem engagement, and trusted digital infrastructure.

By combining RFI’s expertise in governance and digital utility development with DAA’s strong industry network and ecosystem-building capabilities, both organizations aim to contribute meaningfully to the future of responsible digital finance.

The partnership represents another step toward creating a more trusted, interoperable, and sustainable digital economy for institutions, businesses, and users worldwide.
